Margaret L. Ervin, 80, of Hobe Sound, Florida, died suddenly, January 23, 2015, at her home.
Born in Buffalo, New York, she had been a resident of Hobe Sound since 1990, coming from Bay Shore, New York.
Prior to her retirement in 1989, she was the Director of Social Services for Suffolk County, New York.
Margaret was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Tequesta, Florida.
Survivors include her niece, Margaret L. Staley, of Newburgh, New York; one great-nephew, Timothy Staley; and one great-niece, Amy Beth Staley, both of Newburgh.
Services and Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Cedar Hill Cemetery, in Newburgh, New York.
