Margaret Mary Skinner Knapp, 91 of Port St. Lucie, Florida passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at her home.
Born September 29, 1925 in Belleview, Illinois she was the daughter of Clifford and Jessie Burke Skinner. She has resided in Port St. Lucie since 2010 and was a former resident of Stuart, Florida.
Margaret had been a secretary and worked for an electronics company in addition to being a homemaker caring for her family.
She had attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie and was active in Pro-Life, serving as Chairperson while living in Missouri.
She enjoyed playing bridge.
Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is survived by four beloved sons and their families, David Knapp of Cape Girardeau of Missouri, Michael Knapp (Kelly) of Charlotte, NC, Timothy Knapp (Luanne) of St. Charles, MO and Daniel Knapp (Andrea)of Port St. Lucie; and cherished grandchildren, Laurel, Harry, Aurelia, Elvis, Gus, Marni and Kaitlyn. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Harry Augusta Knapp and daughter, Lisa.

Mass will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie. Burial will be at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
