Maria L. Barata, 72, of Ocean Breeze in Jensen Beach, Florida, died Thursday, May 14, 2015, at her home.
Born in Portugal, she had been resident of Ocean Breeze for eleven years, coming from Stuart, Florida.
Prior to her retirement, she worked in the Coffee Shoppe at Martin Memorial Hospital North in Stuart, for more then seventeen years.
Survivors include her companion of more then thirty years, H. Weston Frost, of Ocean Breeze, and one brother in Portugal.
Services with interment in Portugal will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart.
Contributions as a memorial may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
