Marie "Reze" E, Johnston passed away on 8/10/2022 at the age of 79 years old with her sons and daughter in-law by her side.
Born and raised in the Nicetown section of Philadelphia, Marie and her family moved to Stuart, FL in 1979 and established many friends over the years.

She is the loving mother of son James P. Johnston Jr, his wife Alma Rodriguez, grandmother her loving grandson James P. Johnston III and son Timothy J. Johnston.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late James P. Johnston Sr, who she married in 1961. She is  also predeceased by sons James Johnston and David Johnston and she was the sister of the late  Johnny Chalmers, Harry Chalmers (Robyn), Gerry Chalmer s (Marilyn), Susan Sykes (Joe), Bobby Chalmers, Bernadette Gillen (Denny), the late Veronica "Kip" Collier, the late Catherine "Kitty" M. D'Alessandro (Anthony).

There will be two memorial services for Marie. The first will be a small service in Stuart, FL for her local friends and family……
The second will be back in Philadelphia where Marie has requested a gathering of friends and family for a Celebration of Life via an Irish Wake. We will celebrate Marie on November 4 ^th , 2022 at Philadelphia FOP Lodge #5, 11630 Caroline Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19154.

Please arrive between 12:30 and 1pm. Service begins promptly at 1pm. Lunch and Irish Wake: immediately after service (about 1:30) until ????
