Marion Jean Lane, 93, of Hobe Sound, FL, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2022, at her residence. Marion was born on July 8, 1928, to  Hyman and Anita Arrons, in Brooklyn, NY. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Edward E. Arrons in 2014. Marion was a former longtime resident of Ridgewood, NJ, and the Westbeth Artists Community in New York City.

Marion immersed herself in art since childhood, attained a MFA degree from Rutgers University, and spent many years as an art teacher and an art therapist, all the while creating her own impressive portfolio. Marion traveled extensively around the United States and the world.

She is survived by her son Spencer Lane and his wife Patricia, of Palm City, FL, her son George Lane and his wife Rose, of Midlothian, VA, and her four beloved grandchildren: Alexander Lane of Acton, MA; Brittney Lane of Chicago, IL and Anna and Cynthia Lane of Midlothian, VA.

Service will be private.
