Mark Douglas Davidson, Jr., 30, of Port St. Lucie, died on May 5, 2017 at St. Lucie Medical Center following
a brief illness. He was born October 1, 1986 in Fairfax, Virginia and had resided in Charleston, South Carolina for 16 years, having moved to Port St. Lucie 6 months ago.
He is survived by the most important person in his heart his son, Michael Ashton Davidson, of Charleston,
South Carolina, his mother, Deneen Elizabeth Vanscoy of Port St. Lucie, his sister, Destrey Marie Davidson of
Seattle, Washington, grandmother, Mollie Mac Hoover Ewing of Bluffton, South Carolina, his aunt, Lisa Lynn
Gailey of Green Acres, Florida. Mark is also survived by two special first-cousins: Mollie Ann Gaetano and Betsy Lynn Burke, and Ron and Kecia Borowski, life-long friends who were like an aunt and uncle.
A Celebration of Life was held on June 10th at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory in
Stuart with private scattering of ashes at the Crossroads near the St. Lucie inlet later that evening.
Though here for a relatively short time, Mark made a major impact on everyone that had the privilege of
knowing him. His greatest joy was to make those around him smile and laugh yet he was the real joy! He will be greatly missed, yet his influence will continue to be felt from this point onward.
