Marleen Kay McClatchy of Stuart, Florida passed away Saturday May 14 ^th , 2022. Marleen was born in Helena, Montana on July 21 ^st , 1943, to Victoria and Walter McClatchy. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and youngest daughter Julie Gaines. She is survived by her brother Gerald Hickman, her children: Janet Finlay, Elizabeth Finlay, Alexandria Vukic, Craig Gaines, and Karen Gaines. Her six grandchildren: William, Adrienne, Steven, Diane, Lydia, and Nina and her great grandchildren: Jalyn, Anthony, Ivan, and a new great grandson on the way.

Marleen grew up in Sumter, South Carolina. Once married she moved to Northern California and started a robust career in healthcare. After furthering her education at Sonoma State University she became a Registered Nurse and later the head charge nurse of Psychiatric Intake until her retirement in 2005. She retired in Stuart, Florida and lived close to family. Marleen traveled abroad extensively, loved reading, old movies and was an avid Jeopardy enthusiast.
