Billy J. Quick
Age 80, resident of Palm City, FL died November 7, 2012. He was born in Thomasville, GA and resided in Miami, FL. He served in the U.S. Army. He married his Edison High School sweetheart, Mary Anne Baucino in 1955 and was married for 57 years. After finishing Fire College in 1958, Billy began his 30 year career as a city of Miami fireman. He was a member of the very first fireman-based paramedic program in the nation. Billy recently celebrated 50 years as a Mason. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge. In his retirement, he enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, woodcarving and spending time with his loving wife and family. Survivors include: sons, Phillip and Darren Quick; brothers, Joe and Wayne; sisters, Daphine, Betty Ann, and Linda and four grandchildren: Nicole, Ross, Bradley and Sophia.

Mary Ann Quick

Age 79, resident of Palm City, FL, died October 31, 2012. She was born in New Britain, CT and resided in Miami. She graduated from Miami Edison High. She graduated Florida State University with her undergrad in music. Then at age 50, she graduated Nova Southeastern University with a Master's in Elementary Education. She retired from the Date County School Board System where she was a music and elementary school teacher. She enriched many lives as a private piano teacher. She served as President at North East Miami Junior Woman's Club and Dade County Federation of Women's Club. In retirement, she created artistic works displayed in exhibitions and received numerous awards. She was a member of Federated Music Clubs and Alpha Delta Kappa. She was a docent at the Appleton Museum of Art in Ocala, FL. Survivors include: sons, Phillip, Darren and daughter-in-law Olga; sisters, Virginia Kevorkian and Phyllis Tucker and four grandchildren: Nicole, Ross, Bradley and Sophia.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2012, 11 AM, at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home, 950 SE Monterey Rd., Stuart, FL. Condolences may be expressed at: www.treasurecoastseawinds.com. in their memory.
