IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Jane
Cerulli
December 22, 1929 – April 6, 2023
Mary Jane Cerulli, 93, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away at home on April 6, 2023
Born in Detroit, Michigan, she had been a resident of nearby St. Clair Shores, Michigan, for over 40 years before moving to Port St. Lucie, Florida. Prior to becoming a mother and homemaker, Mary Jane enjoyed her career in the auto industry in Detroit, using her adroit math skills as a cost analyst for Packard Motor Cars and other auto companies. She then embraced raising four children and provided them and her husband a home full of love, comfort, good food, and fun. She served as a Vice-President of the PTA, was a den mother and a Girl Scout leader. Some of her favorite pastimes included shopping for a good sale, entertaining, putting together a snappy outfit, and playing pinochle, poker, and Monopoly.
Mary Jane will be remembered by those who knew her as a very loving, kind, and strong-willed person. She adored her husband Joe and they shared 73 happy years together. Meeting as teenagers who lived across the street from each other in Detroit, they married young and enjoyed the ups and downs of life together. Mary Jane will be missed by all who knew her and she has left an indelible imprint on their lives.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Cerulli, Sr.; her sons Joseph Cerulli, Jr., John Cerulli (Marilyn), Paul Cerulli (Jennifer), and her daughter Andrea Cerulli (David Rapp). Mary Jane is also survived by seven grandchildren Jennifer, Lisa, Nicholas, Matthew, Alexandra, Brandon and Leah; five great-grandchildren, and four nephews. She was pre-deceased in death by her beloved mother Molly and much loved brother John.
Mary Jane wanted to let her family know that she loved them all and asked only that they think of her once in a while.
