Mary McCarey Fischer, 87, passed away peacefully on October 15.  Mary was born and raised in Jersey City growing up in the same two family home as her future husband, Charlie.  They married in 1952.  Mary attended St. Michael's High School and worked for Western Electric prior to moving to Montgomery Township, NJ and raising her four children.  Mary loved to cook.  After raising her children, Mary returned to work doing what she loved best, cooking for the employees at Merrill Lynch and later ConvaTec  prior to retiring and moving to Myrtle Beach, SC and later to Port St Lucie, FL.

Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles, her parents Bridget and Bernard McCarey, her sisters Eileen Gallagher and  Anna Rose Whaley. She is survived by her children Eileen and Ron Kuriskin, Charlene and John Carlson, Diane Frazier, Charles and Karen Fischer, her grandchildren Mary, Chelsea, Maggie, Amanda, Erica, Emily, Megan, Rachel , CJ and great grandchildren Terry and Charlie and sister Bernadette Russo. She will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for both Mary and Charlie. Burial will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
