Age 82, of Stuart, FL, passed away on September 13, 2025, at Life Care Center of Port Saint Lucie.

Maryann was born in New York City and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 26 years, moving there from Windsor, VA. She was a devoted and hardworking mother whose life was centered on her children. Sacrificing to provide them with the best life she could, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever shape the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Her life reflected a heart anchored in faith, secure in the promise of eternal life. Today, her family takes comfort in knowing that Maryann is rejoicing with her savior, Jesus Christ, and that she is finally free from pain and suffering. Her presence brought joy and warmth to all who knew her, and her faith continues to inspire those she leaves behind.

She is survived by her children, Harry "Skip" (Angie) Ewing of Crystal River, FL, Michael (Marsha) Ewing of Stuart, FL and Deborah (Rickee) Ewing of Shermans Dale, PA; her grandchildren include, Derrick (Jamey), Kyle (Stephanie), Craig, Cody (Heather), Lauren, Bradley, Lane and Della (Grand-Daughter in Spirit) and 12 precious great-grandchildren. Maryann is also survived by her beloved brothers, Eugene "Gene" (Dotti) Godfrey, Robert "Bob" (Jane) Godfrey, Richard "Rick" Godfrey and John (Lenora "Sis") Godfrey.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband James "Jim" Deal, parents, Eugene and Janet Godfrey, and her brother, William Godfrey.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 3:00 PM at: Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church, 2880 SE Aster Ln. Stuart, FL 34994
