Melinda Faith Morgan, age 30, was born October 25, 1993, in Stuart, Florida. Because of severe complications during her birth, Melinda suffered physical disabilities in a variety of ways.  She persevered through 31 surgeries and countless medical procedures yet all the while receiving an abundance of love from her family, caregivers, and friends. She was provided homeschooling through the Martin County school system.

Melinda passed away in her home at 11:30 p.m. on December 31, 2023, with her father and mother by her side. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth and Pauline Morgan, and Josè and Margarita Velazquez.

She will be deeply missed by her parents, David and Esther, her sister Marianne, brother in law Brandon, and nephews Stefan, Chase, and Evan; her dedicated nursing staff, and many relatives and friends.

The family will receive guests on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Hobe Sound Bible Church, 11295 SE Gomez Avenue, Hobe Sound, Florida, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Matthew Ellison officiating and Rev. Bernard Heath, Rev. Wesley Holden, Dr. Rodney Loper, and Rev. James Reed participating.

Burial will immediately follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens, 1501 S. Kanner Highway in Stuart, Florida.
