Mickey Brechtlein, 75, of Hobe Sound, Florida passed away Sunday, November 10 ^th , 2019, at the Woodlake Health and Rehabilitation Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Born in the Bronx, New York. he had been a Florida resident for the last 40 years.

Prior to his retirement, he was a proud teamster, driving tractor trailers up and down the east coast. Mickey was an avid fisherman and pilot, he enjoyed being on the water as well as being in the air.

Survivors include his brother Robert Brechtlein and his wife Jean of New York; his son, Michael Brechtlein and his wife, Heather of Reinholds, Pennsylvania. Four grandchildren, Michael, Christian, Ciara and Skylar and three great-grandchildren, Caelen, Michael and Marcella.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Maria, and his sister Mary Iwaskow.

In lieu of flowers, contributions as a memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, in hopes to find a cure.
