Michael Louis Howk, 67, of Stuart passed away at his home.
Born on March 14, 1949 in Kalamazoo, MI, he was the son of Victor G. and Jerolene E. Long Howk. He moved to Stuart in 2015, coming from Loxahatchee, where he had resided for 15 years.
Michael was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and with almost seven years of military service for our country. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans.
Michael was a road construction heavy equipment operator and also had been a resident manager at the Stand Down House operated by Faith* Hope* Love* Charity, Inc. in Lake Worth. He forever will be a part of Stand Down for his works and contributions helping veterans.
He was a member of the Lutheran faith.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Tiffany Howk and cherished grandson, Jeremiah Michael Howk.

Committal Service will be 11:30 AM, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth with military honors provided by U. S. Air Force.
