Minnie Pearl Bennett - Cochran, 79, Hobe Sound FL, passed away at home on March 27, 2021.

Minnie was born on June 02,1941 in Whitesville, West Virginia. After graduating Minnie moved to Stuart to join husband Robert Bennett who was in Army and later had 4 children. Debra, Brenda, Wayne, and Ron.

Minnie was known to most people in her later years as Granny that is what she loved.

She later remarried to Dale Cochran.

Minnie was a loving mother, grandma, and friend. She loved God and always giving to everyone.

She worked for Martin County High as security guard before retirement.

After retiring Minnie spent her time working in her yard, spending time with family and especially her dog, Taco.

Minnie was predeceased by her daughter, Debra Firpo, her son. Robert Wayne Bennett son,  and her granddaughter,Tina Robinson.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda Laher and husband Jeff; her son Ron Bennett; her son -in -law Don Firpo; and grandchildren, Ashtin Bennett, Rocky Rodriguez, Jeffrey Rodriguez and his wife Megan, Lisa Zopf, Michael Bennett, David Bennett and his wife Mandy, and Bobby Bennett; also special person Larry Peebles; and many great-grandchildren.
