Morton L. Goldberg, beloved husband, father, grandfather and uncle, passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2017. He was born in Troy, NY to Samuel and Molly Goldberg on November 5, 1924. He graduated Alteraz High School in Monterey, MA and went on to Stanford University and Union College, where he earned his PH D in Psychology. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during WWII. Morton was a school psychologist in the Schenectady/Troy school system for many years. When he reached retirement, he and his wife, Diane, relocated to Port St. Lucie, FL, where they spent 30 amazing years together. Morton L. Goldberg is survived by his wife of 54 years, Diane S. Goldberg, daughters Beth Hoenicke (Stefan), Janet Flood and Rena Thomas (John, Jr.) along with 7 grandchildren, Corbin, Tessa & Nolan Hoenicke, Lauren & Kaelyn Flood and John III & Mattea Thomas. Morton was predeceased by his brothers Paul Gregory, Sanford Gilbert and Delphus Goldberg, and is also survived by 4 nieces. A service will be planned at a later date.
