Nancy Ann Nolen, 57, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boynton Beach, Florida.

Nancy was born on June 9, 1960 in West Palm Beach, Florida, the daughter of the late Ken and Louise Nolen, and moved to Tequesta in 1969.  She attended Rosarian Academy in West Palm Beach and Jupiter High School.

Nancy lived in Southern Palm Beach County, near the beach she so dearly loved, at the time of her death.  Nancy left behind two brothers, Ken and his wife, MaryAnne and Mickey and his wife, Lynn and their children, Mandy and Douglas Nolen.

Nancy fought a courageous battle against cancer.  She did not want to be labeled a victim, always staying positive until the very end.  Nancy never gave up hope and never complained.  She had a kind word to say to everyone she encountered and was an inspirational role model.  She was a life-long artist, yoga instructor, and licensed massage therapist.    She also played a number of instruments including the piano, flute, drums, and didgeridoo.

There will be a private burial at the Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in Gainesville, Florida on Sunday, May 6, 2018.
