Nenita Rose "Rosie" Roberts, 82, of Stuart, Florida passed away peacefully and with strength of purpose on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Stuart Nursing and Restorative Care.

Born in Virgie, Kentucky, she had been a resident of Stuart since 1971, coming from Allen Park, Michigan.

Nenita was preceded in death by her best friend of 60 years Burlin "John" Roberts who passed away in August of 2015. They both loved hard work and worked hard.

She was not afraid to speak her mind and not shy about giving a straight forward response.  She was always fair, and the best giver of advice. She enjoyed the warmth of the South Florida sun and the challenge of her daily crypto-quote puzzle.

She is survived by  one daughter, Rhonda Sedlock and her husband, Greg of Stuart; her sister, Doris Winner of Escondido, California; and her brother, Roger Burke of Bidwell, Ohio.

Interment will be private at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, contributions as a memorial may be made to the Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105
