Obituary

Norman Herbert Heintz passed into eternity at age 84 to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, early Tuesday morning, January 12th, 2016.
Norm is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cynthia (Cindy) Heintz; children, Dorcas (Steve), JoAnn (Ray), Jill (Dave), Brad (Cindy) and Kurt (Lisa); grandchildren, Katrina (Luke), Justus (Emily), Nathan (Courtney), Luke (Sarah), John, Maria, Jacob (Lauren), Phillip (Megan), Seth (Kelly), Ella, Lilli, Joshua (Ivy), Dierk, and Dominick; great grandchildren, Jude, Wesley, Landon, Kaiden, Colton and Lola; brother and sisters, Alvin (Arlene), Adelma (Mayo), Dorothy (Mark), Luther (Lois), Marilyn(Roger), Esther (David), Lori (Jon) and sister-in-law, Janice; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
He is predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Lillian Heintz, brother Roger, and brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Janis.
Norman was born in 1931, in Nobles County, Minnesota. He attended St. Paul's Lutheran School in Fulda; Bethany High School and College in Mankato; Concordia Lutheran College in St Paul, Minnesota and Concordia Seminary in Springfield, Illinois. He served churches in England: Luther-Tyndale, London; Redeemer, Cambridge, and started a mission, Holy Cross, in Sheffield. After returning from England, he served Redeemer in Grand Rapids and Calvary in Lincoln Park, Michigan. After retirement, he served Fremont, Michigan and Redeemer, Stuart.
The Memorial Service will be Monday, January 18th, at 11 am, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2450 SE Ocean Blvd in Stuart, FL 34996. A luncheon will follow after the service. Internment will be in Fulda, MN, in spring or summer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Cornerstone Fellowship (a mission outreach of Redeemer) and His Servant's Place (Redeemer's Thursday night soup kitchen), at the above address. He was involved in both of these ministries and enjoyed leading devotions and Bible studies until this past December.
