IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamela H.
Uhlman
July 7, 1962 – February 15, 2024
Pamela (Pam) Uhlman, 61, of Hobe Sound, FL passed away on February 15, 2024.
Born in Mendham, NJ, she has been a resident of Florida for 35 years. Pam graduated from East Carolina University in 1985 after studying Social Work and held many roles throughout her life including social worker, lab supervisor/pharmacy technician, and mortgage auditor.
Pam is survived by her two sons, Ryan Uhlman (Jessica Sneed, and their son Ryker), and Matthew Uhlman (married to Tori, and their children Rhett and Jovie); parents Harold and Mary Harring; her sister Laura Paulsen (married to Brian, and their children Brandon and Danielle); and her beloved dog Buster. Pam is preceded in death by her former husband Richard Uhlman.
Pam will be remembered for her endless generosity, welcoming kindness, adventurous spirit, and her love for life. On any given day you would find Pam spending time with her family, walking her dog Buster, working in her garden, at the beach, gathered with her community (especially the Grace Singles) at The Grace Place Church, or helping those in need. Every Saturday Pam would spend her time serving with Our Community Table, an organization that provides meals to those in need in Martin County. Pam made everyone around her feel loved and accepted, no matter who they were or how long she knew them. And if you spoke to her for even a moment, you would have heard about her grandkids and saw the unending love she had for them.
Pam was a strong and supportive mother, doting grandmother, devoted daughter, loving sister, and a friend to everyone. We find comfort in knowing that she will continue watching over us, just as she always has.
Her departure comes as a great shock and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply. The family appreciates your support during this difficult time and asks that you make contributions to Our Community Table or Furry Friends in lieu of flowers.
A service will be held on Saturday, February 24, at 1:00 pm at The Grace Place Church - 1550 SE Salerno Rd, Stuart, FL 34997. Pam would have wanted this to be a celebration of her life, so please dress however you are comfortable and in colors that celebrate the joy she exuded.
