Paquito "Frank" Marrero, 83, of Hobe Sound, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at his home with his family by his side.
Born in New York City, New York, he had been a resident of Hobe Sound for sixteen years, coming from the Bronx, New York.
He served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.
Prior to his retirement, he was the Head Custodian of the Saint Lucy Catholic Church in the Bronx, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus there.
Locally he attended Saint Christopher Catholic Church, prior his and his wife's illness.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Grace Marrero of Hobe Sound; three sons, Frank Marrero of Hobe Sound, Michael Marrero of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Vincent Marrero of La Vergne, Tennessee; and one daughter, Grace Marrero, of the Bronx; six grandchildren, Michael Monjay, Peter Jr., David, Sheila, Michael II, and Jason; seven great-grandchildren, Hailey, Bentley, Grace, Samantha, Shania, Jade, Brandon, and Rhylee Jean.
He was preceded in death by his son, Peter Marrero.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2015 from 2-4:00 pm in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 10th at 10:00 am at the Saint Christopher Catholic Church, 12001 SE Federal Highway, Hobe Sound, Florida 33455.
