IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Marie
Polonski
November 4, 1935 – January 30, 2023
PATRICIA MARIE POLONSKI
11/4/35 – 1/30/23
Patricia M. Hickey, born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, went into the arms of her Savior surrounded by her loving family.
She was a graduate of Archbishop Cushing High School. An avid dancer, she met the love of her life, Joseph T. Polonski, at Mosley's on the Charles, whom she married in 1956. She went on to have 3 children that were raised in Milton Massachusetts, the family enjoyed camping, skiing, sailing and weekends at their summer home on Cape Cod. She was a homemaker while her children were young and enjoyed working part-time backstage at Boston theatres. She went into property management where she thrived with her attention to detail and personality brimming with wit and warmth, and eventually managed two 18-story towers in Cambridge, Massachusetts with prominent clients such as IBM, Saddlebrook and Cambridge Power & Light. She semi-retired at 50 and started her own property management company and was successful managing several medical offices.
Her and her husband retired to Florida in 1990 where she enjoyed traveling, especially to her favorite spot in the Caribbean, the Island of St. John. She had wonderful friends and loved throwing parties and became an avid golfer with holes in 1 and championship trophies at two different country clubs.
She was predeceased by her son Joseph and granddaughter Jenn. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, son Gary Polonski and wife Wendy of Maine, daughter Donna Lowell and husband Tom of Florida, Son-in-law Tim Kellar of Arizona, 3 granddaughters Kellie Watts of NH, Cori Polonski of SC, and Victoria Addis of FL and 7 great grandchildren. We will miss her great enthusiasm for fun and laughter but take that wonderful legacy with us and are so grateful for all the amazing memories of such a strongwoman that has taught us so much about making the most of each and every day.
