Patricia L Sutherland

Patricia sadly lost her courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, May 9th at age 70.

Born in Baltimore, MD on 12/20/48, she earned her Ph.D. in psychology, but above all, she was a proud mother and a beloved wife.

She loved the outdoors and spent many years living in Black Mountain NC, where she contributed to the lives of many. She was a dedicated therapist-counselor for the adjudicated youth. Patricia moved to Ft. Pierce in 2012 where she continued to facilitate support therapy groups improving mental health as well as volunteering for hospice, including Treasure Coast Hospice where she received comfort in her final days.

Services for Patricia will be held at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home on Friday, May 17th, at 6 p.m.
