Patrick R. McCafferty died July 12, 2013. He lived in Stuart since 1990 coming from Chicago, IL. Patrick was born in Fullerton, California to Robert L. and Irene Z. McCafferty on July 6, 1959. After moving to Stuart he worked in construction and retail sales. He was an avid fisherman as fishing was his passion. He was an extremely gifted angler whom many a fisherman sought his advice and guidance concerning fishing. Survivors include his mother, Irene McCafferty of Jensen Beach, life partner, Patty Wendell of Port St. Lucie and her family, Paul, Jennifer, and Connor Neziol; brother, Michael McCafferty and sister in law Deanna McCafferty, nephews Shane and Mitchell McCafferty of Pekin, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. McCafferty. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
