IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul E.
Dabose
March 25, 1947 – February 22, 2021
Paul Dabose, 73, passed away February 22, 2021 at his home in Jensen Beach FL. Born in March 1947 to the late Andrew Dabose and the late Sophie (Makowiecki) Dabose, Paul was raised in Danvers MA and later resided in the Philippines, Hawaii, Palm City, Florida, and Jensen Beach, Florida
Paul worked on a lobster boat as a young man, then served in the US Army, and later worked in a jet engine plant.
Along the way, Paul developed many varied interests, including buying and restoring several '55 Chevrolets, boating in his SeaRay, and diving and metal detecting for 1715 Fleet Spanish treasure on the Treasure Coast of Florida.
A music lover, Paul played guitar, with Bob Dylan being his favorite artist. He also loved gardening and animals, supported the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, and adopted our cat Midnite there.
A caring, energetic person with a boyish smile, Paul attracted new friends everywhere he went, sustaining lifelong relationships with many people he encountered on the road of life.
Never idle, he remained engaged in life until his death, never allowing 5 years of health issues to bring him down. Paul is greatly missed and will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved him.
Paul is survived by his wife of 34 years, Laura Dabose, of Jensen Beach FL, sister Andrea (Michael) Daley and their sons Michael Jr. and Douglas Daley, sister Diane Dabose and her son Andrew O'Connell of MA, Goddaughter Lisa Record O'Gara, and many friends and relatives in the extended Dabose, Makowiecki, Dick, and Jordan families. He was predeceased by his sister Carolyn Dabose.
Special thanks to Linda Curran & family of Illinois; Charles Hinsdale and Nancy Beckel & their families of Hawaii; Andrea Daley, Kevin Moroz, Gail Latusky & their families of Massachusetts; Fred Villanueva of the Philippines; Baby and Terry Gipson of Tennessee; Bob Emerson, Capt. Dom and Yvonne Addario, Jane and Terry Northup, Anna Marie Raiano, Sal and Susan Comito, and Rod Trowbridge of Florida for their love and support during this difficult time.
Contributions as a memorial may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, or the Treasure Coast Food Bank.
