Paul J. Hardy, 87, of Stuart, Florida, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his home.
Born in Warrensburg, Illinois, he had been a Florida resident for many years, the last three as a resident of Stuart.
He earned his Masters Degree in Education of the University of Illinois and was a member of the United States Naval Reserve. Paul was also a former member of the Elks Club in Stuart.
Prior to his retirement, he was a teacher at Jupiter High School in Jupiter, Florida, for 15 years, where he was also served as a Football, Wrestling, and Tennis Coach. He was also the supervisor of the Key Club at the school for 5 years.
He never met a person he didn't like and was known for his expression "Don't want the answer, than don't ask the question".
Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Ruth M. Hardy (nee Bost) of Stuart; 3 sons, Mark Hardy and his wife Karen, Art Hardy and his wife, Debi, and Jeff Hardy, all of Jupiter; his sister, Janet Williams of Argenta, Illinois; 7 grandchildren, Brooke, Austin, Cassidi, Carter, Steven, Brian, and Nicole; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of His Life will take place on Saturday, July 31 st from 1-6:00 pm at a residence located at 277 Crane Point North, Jupiter, Florida 33458.
