Penelope Sangas was granted her angel wings on December 19, 2014.
Nothing was more important to Penny than her family and she spent her final days surrounded by her loving family, wrapped in the warmth of the love of her three children: Van Sangas, Stephanie Parrish, Christine Terezakis: her sons-in-law, Ray Parrish and Andy Terezakis; and her seven grandchildren, Teddy, Andrew, Dylan, Morgan, Evy, Steven and Alexa.
Penny was born on October 8, 1927 in Astoria, New York, and spent her life making the world a more beautiful place by creating wonderful works of art including paintings in all media, miniature vignettes and warm quilts.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Theodore and Paraskevi Drossos, and her brother, Nicholas Drossos.
Friends are welcome to attend a visitation at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Rd. Stuart, between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 on Sunday, December 21st.
The funeral service will be held at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 2525 South 25th., Fort Pierce, Florida, on Tuesday, December 23 at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at the All Saints Cemetery in Jensen Beach.
