Perry H. "Bud" Sullivan, 81, of Palm City, Florida, entered the Church Triumphant on November 9, 2015.

Bud was born August 9, 1934 in Washington, D.C. He attended Anacostia High School where he met Phyllis Jean Hadaway, the love of his life. They married in January 1955 and had three children: son, Rick married to Cynthia; daughter, Terri (Walsh); and daughter Kelli (Cuppett) married to Reid. Family was important to Bud and he adored them all, especially his grandchildren Mackenzie (Walsh), Kyle (Walsh), Taelor (Cuppett), and Makayla (Cuppett). His parents Perry and Ruth Sullivan and his brother Bob Sullivan predeceased him. He is survived by siblings Allen Sullivan and Margaret Dovin (George).

As a young man, Bud worked for the Department of the Army and the Naval Gun Factory. During the Korean Conflict, he served in the United States Coast Guard. After leaving the U.S. Coast Guard, he began working for the Central Intelligence Agency. While at the CIA he received multiple awards in recognition and appreciation for service dedicated to the vital role of National Intelligence. He retired after 33 years of decorated Federal service and relocated to Palm City, Florida in 1991.

Bud always had a love of games -whether playing tennis, softball, golf, cards, board games, practical jokes, or simply being with his wife, children or grandchildren. He was quick witted and clever. He was loved by many. The warmth of his smile, the touch of his hand, and the security of his hug will be deeply missed.

Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag by the United States Coast Guard Military Honor Guard will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Palm City Presbyterian Church, 2700 SW Martin Highway, Stuart, where a Service to Celebrate his Life will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his name may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
