Perry Wayman Mason of Hobe Sound, Florida passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the age of 73.  He is survived by his wife Judi Mason, brother Chuck Winters, daughter Kimberly Mason-Burns, grandchildren Ashley Mason Burns Meersheart and Courtney Holl as well as his great grandchild Mason Whiles.  Perry was welcomed into heaven by his brothers John Winters and Lloyd Winters, Jr and sister Norma Winters Hicks, son Scott Mason, adoptive parents Dr. Ernest Mason and Bertha Howell Mason and birth parents Lloyd Winters, Sr and Thelma Richmond Winters.

Perry was born June 6, 1947 in Kansas City Mo.  He became an Eagle Scout in High School and graduated from Shawnee Mission East in 1965.  He went on to work for Marley Cooling towers for 21 years in Engineering and Sales.  Then in 1989 he married Judith McCullum and they relocated to Minnesota where he went to work for the Gorgen Company as a salesman.  In 1996 went to work for the Home Depot in Minnesota and in 2006 he relocated to the Stuart, Fl Home Depot  until he took medical retirement in 2012.

Perry had a soft spot for all animals and a special affection for horses.  Some might say he was an animal whisperer.  He had significant human understanding, was compassionate and a great big heart.  He will be dearly missed but not forgotten.
