Peter Robert Russo, 89, of Stuart, passed away Saturday July 7,2012 at Martin Nursing and Restorative Care Center in Stuart.
He was born on December 12,1922 in Manhattan, New York, a son of the late Rocco Russo and Louise Russo. Peter served in the Navy during World War II as a Seaman First Class. Following his service to his country, he was a union carpenter by trade and received honors for over 65 years of trade service.
In addition to his parents Peter is predeceased by his loving wife of 63 years Grace Marie LaSalle Russo and three sisters.
He is survived by two sons; Robert J. Russo and wife Diane E. of Stuart Fl., and Peter R. Russo Jr. of Hollywood Fl., one daughter, Camille J. Robinson and husband Wendel Earl of Ormond Beach Fl.,; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
