"In memory of Peter Van Snook; strong leader, faithful husband, diligent father, dedicated papa, and loving dog dad.
Peter passed away on April 30, 2022 in the company of his family.
Peter was born June 12,1949 in Cleveland Ohio to Jane Marker Snook and Richard Edwin Snook. He moved to Florida and eventually married the love of his life Sandra Morgan Snook on December 9, 1972. Pete was preceded in death by his oldest son, Troy Van Snook and leaves behind Christine (Ernest) Snook-Aldridge and Eric (Casee) Snook and 6 wonderful Grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered and missed.
A long days work was not wasted or lost on Peter Snook. Peter is survived by his dedicated wife who witnessed and matched his fervent work ethic over the course of their 50 year marriage. Well rooted in Martin County, They enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, boating and Line Dancing.
Peter was an all American family man. He was an excellent provider. With every new hobby and interest that his family dreamt up, there was Pete riding horses, raising livestock, and mowing lawns well into his 42year retirement from Rinker Materials Corp./ Cemex.
Some of our fondest memories of Pete include him coaching Little League baseball, participating as a co leader in Boy Scouts, and accompanying Sandy to numerous dog and horse shows with no complaint.
Peter will be sorely missed. He was the steadfast anchor for our family. We are so thankful and blessed by the Legacy of Strength and Integrity left behind.
Per Peter's fervent desire, there will be no services. Please contact Casee Snook (
