Philip William Heveran
Age 81 of Hobe Sound, FL, died Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at his residence in Hobe Sound, FL. Born in Astoria, NY, he had been a resident of Florida for thirty one years. Prior to retirement, he was a medical investigator with the Health Department in West Palm Beach, FL. He spent twenty years with the New York City Fire Department, Rescue 4 in Queens, NY.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Millie Heveran of Hobe Sound; two sons, Bruce Heveran of Medford, OR and Edward (Patricia) Cunn of West Islip, NY; two daughters, Diane(Bruce) Rothaar of Seattle, WA and Lauren (Anthony) Ardizzone of Jupiter, FL; and eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Janice, grandson, Christopher Cunn and his brother, David Heveran.
The family suggests memorials, to those who desire, to the Hospice foundation, C/o Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL or Safe Harbor Animal Rescue League, 185 E. Indiantown Road, Jupiter, FL 33458.
