Phyllis Orlando, 60, of Stuart, FL passed away December 16, 2015 at home with family by her side and under the care of Treasure Coast Hospice.
Born July 30, 2015 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Frank and Carmela Rugnetta. Phyllis moved to Stuart three years ago, coming from Brooklyn.
Phyllis was a member of the Roman Catholic faith and a homemaker.
She was adored by her son, nieces and nephews. Phyllis loved life, she will be remembered as a very kind and giving person who was always willing to help others.
Survivors include her husband, James S. Orlando; son, James A. Orlando; brother, Rocco Rugnetta; nephews, Teddy Spera, Frankie Spera, Paulie Spera, and Frank Rugnetta; nieces, Roseann Areces; Carmella Spera-Vantiliburg; Carmella Rugnetta and Lea Rugnetta.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Frank Rugnetta, Jr. and sister, Grace Marie Rugnetta Freeman.
A Memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date.
