Rachel Elizabeth Stafani, 84, of Stuart, Florida, passed away at 6:30 a.m. Saturday January 30th, 2016, at Martin Memorial Medical Center. She was born May 10th, 1931, in Danville, Virginia, to Martha Elizabeth Wells, and Allen Yancy Buckner.
She is survived by her husband Sam Stafani, married 64 years, daughter Angela Elizabeth Vernon, son in-law Emanuel Vernon, grand children Sarah and Jacob, great grandson Matthew, and brother Allen Wells of Wilson, North Carolina.
"Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can."
My mother lived her life in this way, with great passion for family, friends, and work as a real estate broker.
She enjoyed reading, walking on the beach, baking, singing in the Saint Luke's church choir, and making the communion bread.
She was loved and will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be 2 PM, Friday, February 19, 2016 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 5150 SE Railway Avenue, Stuart, FL 34997.
