Ranay Petagno, age 68 of Jensen Beach, FL passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Hay Madeira House in Stuart, FL. Ranay was born July 27, 1944 in New York and has been in Florida since 1971. She has been in Jensen Beach since 2008 and has worked for the downtown Stuart Publix for the last 3 years. She truly loved working and her Publix coworkers were like family to her. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, reading and spending time with her family. Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Emil Petagno of Jensen Beach; her daughter, Renee (Michael) Scott of Jensen Beach; grandchildren, Connor and Colin. Per her wishes, cremation will take place and no public services are scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice (1201 SE Indian St; Stuart, FL 34997). Arrangements are by the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Stuart, FL.
