Raphael L. Baptiste, 84, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Tradition Medcial Center in Port Saint Lucie.  He was born in Success Village, Trinidad, but moved his family to Boston, Massachusetts 50 years ago. He relocated to Decatur, Georgia and eventually resided in Florida.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kyra, of 60 years along with his three children Cheryl-Ann, Anton (Harriette) and Anselm (Stephanie), 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ellis and Olla.

A Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 pm on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Port St. Lucie Church of the Nazarene, 121 SW Kestor Drive, Port St. Lucie, where a Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 pm.

At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
