Rayford V.  Pitts, 71 of Tropical Farms in Stuart, Florida, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart.

Affectionately known as "Ray", he had been a local resident for 60 years coming from his birthplace.

He was a member of Tropical Farms Baptist Church in Stuart for 44 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Celia Pitts, and his brother, Ronald Pitts.

Ray is survived by his brother Steve Pitts and his wife Trudy of Newville, Alabama; his sister Annette Pitts also of Newville; and much loved nieces and nephews.

Services will be announced at a later date.
