Raymond Frank Mills' Obituary
Raymond Frank Mills, 86, of Port Saint Lucie, FL passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort
Pierce, FL.
Mr. Mills was born in Mt. Vernon, NY and proudly served in the US NAVY aboard the USS Blue Gill, and the USS Batfish.
He had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie, FL for twenty years, coming from Pompton Plains, NJ.
He is survived by four sons, Tom of Oak Ridge, NJ; John of West Linn; Jim and Rich both of Glenwood, NJ; one daughter Peg of Port St. Lucie, FL; and one brother Donald, of Smithville, NJ, He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Mills.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 6:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, 555 SW Cashmere Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL.
The family will fulfill his wishes by scattering at sea, on Father's Day, Sunday, June 17, 2012 in New Jersey.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Raymond Mills, to: St. Mary's Submarine Museum, 102 St Mary's Street West, St. Mary's, GA 31558.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, Stuart, FL.
