Obituary

Raymond Charles Sarfaty, 94, of Palm City passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Brookdale Assisted Living Facility in Jensen Beach.
Mr. Sarfaty was born on April 10, 1921 in Manhattan, NY, the son of Raymond Hart Sarfaty and Elizabeth S. Sarfaty. He has resided in Palm City for 2 years, formerly of Vero Beach, FL, Stuart, FL and Darien, CT.
He received his Bachelor's Degree from Princeton and also held a Master's Degree from NYU. He retired as Director of Purchasing for American Cyanamid Company.
Mr. Sarfaty was an Army veteran of World War II, he received the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Ribbon. He served as a Communications Officer and Reconnaissance and Survey Officer.
Survivors include beloved daughters, Nancy Gallerani of Needham, Lynne Hill and husband, Bill of Palm City; Betsy Westerfield and husband, Cal W. Redding of CT; cherished grandfather of seven and great grandfather of six.
Memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, January 23, 2015, at First Presbyterian Church of Stuart, 1715 NW Pine Lake Dr., Stuart, FL 34994.
