Richard C. Devecki July 4,1929 - July 26, 2022
Richard was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the parents of Frances and Charles Devecki. He spent 25 years working for Gould, as a quality assurance engineer in Ohio and also in Maryland, where he then started his future. He raised four sons, Robert, Ronald, Charles and Richard. In 1984 he married his devoted wife, Linda, who stayed by his side for 42 years. He then became a step father to his beloved Cara. He had 13 grandchildren whom he loved dearly, together Richard & Linda were always a part of their lives and were able to spend time with them as much as possible, they were then blessed with 23 great-grandchildren as well. Richard spent many years helping his family, whether in NY, Ohio, Maryland or Florida. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hiking, golfing, boating, riding horses & working in his beautiful gardens. Richard was an animal lover, his dogs were his favorite, no matter where he went they were with him. He was a collector of all sorts, loved going to the local auctions, never knowing what he was going to walk out with. After a long illness, he has passed peacefully.
Richard was pre deceased by his parents (Frances & Charles), his step daughter (Cara) & his grandson (Robert).
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda, his four sons, Robert (Pat), Ronald (Lourdes), Charles (Sandra), Rick (Tracy), his 13 grandchildren, Jennifer (Ramon), Charlene (Tony), Charles (Tatiana), Kristen, Kalli (John), Kery (Bryant), Larry (Jena), Andrew (Jessica), Anthony, Jarred (Emily), Kyle, Amber, Tyler (Jennifer) and 23 great-grandchildren, Emma, Abel, Landon, Tony, Aleigha, Wyatt-Joseph, LaRenn-Jaxsyn, Camron, Xavier, Dakota, Ava, Dominic, Logan, Jackson, Sky, Eliza, Arielle, Kylie, Gage, Camden, Raylyn, Maddox & Maverick. Also, his closet friends, Gilly, Starr, Meghan & Justin.
Richard will be extremely missed by all his family & friends!
