Richard Allan Nackowski, 73 of Palm City passed away December 29, 2016.

Born January 14, 1943 in New Britain, CT he was the son of Stephen Joseph Nackowski, Sr and Mary Marut Nackowski. He moved to Jensen Beach four years ago from Southington, CT and moved to Palm City in 2015.

He had owned and operated Accurate Automotive Appraiser in Connecticut for 25 years and worked for Custom Auto Center in Stuart.

Richard loved and lived for his family. He is remembered by his daughter and grandchildren as making sacrifices for the benefit of the family and being a sturdy rock for others to lean on.

Beyond his love of family, he enjoyed golf and playing cards.

Survivors include his beloved daughter, Tracy Ann Pelletier; loving grandchildren, Michael Pelletier, Richard Pelletier, Anthony Mitchell and Seth Mitchell; cherished grandson, Jayce Pelletier and Jaydan Jordon as well as a great granddaughter on the way, Maddison; sister, Kathy La Porta and brother, Stephen Nackowski, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie.
