Richard L. Pocock, 80, of Jensen Beach, Florida, formerly of Scituate, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 6, 2019, after a brief illness.

He was born in Moapa, Nevada in 1939, the youngest of seven children of Myrle (Connelly) and Harvey Pocock.  His family relocated to Ontario, California, where he attended Chaffey High School and went on to graduate from San Jose State University.

He met his wife, Kathy, while attending the New York Institute of Finance in 1965, and they eventually settled in Scituate.  They owned the Cohasset Tennis and Squash Club for 30 years, and he was involved in various other businesses before retiring to Jensen Beach,  in 2004.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathy (Lenane), two children, Doug of Portland Maine and Debbie, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and 3 grandchildren.
