Richard F. Schultz, (a former engineer of 34 years at General Motors in Pontiac, Michigan) died November 26, 2017 surrounded by loved ones, having lived a very full life.
A memorial Service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2450 SE Ocean Blvd., Stuart, Florida 34997 at 12:30 pm, December 17, 2017
Richard was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where he sang in the church choir for years. He also performed with the Treasure Coast Opera and Barn Theater.
He attended Cranbrook Schools. He was a man defined by a love of intellectual challenge (a born engineer), theater- as a performer as well as a spectator; he was very fond of Gilbert and Sullivan. Richard loved everything maize and blue, golf and of course his family.
Richard is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rita, daughters Teresa Hall (Bob Oakley) of Stuart, Florida and Amy Schultz (Forrest Boughner) of Rochester, Michigan and his granddaughter Chloe who he adored, Also survived by brother Robert (Brenda) Schultz of Clarkston, Michigan, and brother David of Long Island, New York.
Memorial donations may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or Treasure Coast Hospice.
Arrangements are under the care of Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory.
