Dick Tierney, a proud Irishman with a commanding presence and a huge heart, passed away on December 1st after 92 years and 4 months of great living. Up until the day before he died, when asked how he was doing, Dick always responded, "What's better than spectacular?" His laughter was contagious —he was the first to laugh at his own jokes— and his generosity was beyond measure. Dick was a devout Catholic, a loyal Notre Dame alum, and a dedicated U.S. Marine veteran. He will be missed by his loving family and many fans and friends. We look forward to celebrating his wonderful life on January 4, 2025.
