Richard A. Westfall, 87 of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, due to Covid-19 Pneumonia.

Born in Albany, New York, he was a resident of Port Saint Lucie for a number of years, coming from Atlanta, Georgia.

Prior to his retirement, he was in the second mortgage business and attended Albany Business College. He honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post #355 in Port Saint Lucie, and also a member of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity also in Port Saint Lucie.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Margaret Westfall and his brother, Robert Westfall.

Survivors include his daughter, Juliet Tate and her husband, Joseph of Franklin, Georgia; his sister Beth King of Tampa, Florida; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Contributions as a memorial may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, 1151 SE Del Rio Boulevard, Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34953.

Inurnment will take place at Saint Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
