Robert A. Crawford, Jr., age 55 of Port St Lucie, FL passed away at home on Friday, July 5, 2013. Rob was born August 15, 1957 in Wheeling, WV, son of Robert Sr. and Delores (Petrelle) Crawford. He came to Florida in 1998 from King, NC and loved to play pool and working on cars. Rob was a great painter specializing in painting homes, but enjoyed painting cars as well. He will always be remembered for his famous line "Back in 48". Surviving are his 2 children, Bridgette Crawford of Jacksonville, FL and Robert Crawford III of Olathe, KS; his mother, Delores "Dee" and his step-father, Ralph Waltz of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Roberta "Bobbi" (Harvey) Crabtree of Port St Lucie, FL and Kathy Crawford of Port St Lucie, FL; brothers, Bernard "Butch" Crawford of Port St Lucie, FL and Keith ("C" Little) Crawford of Port St Lucie, FL; 4 grandsons; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; his sister, Sharon and his grandmother, Margaret Petrelle. Per his wishes, cremation will take place and no public services are scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions may be made St. Jude's Children's Hospital (262 Danny Thomas Pl; Memphis, TN 38105) or Treasure Coast Hospice (1201 SE Indian St; Stuart, FL 34997).
