Roger Harold
Folts
August 16, 1938 – May 19, 2026
Jupiter First Church
Starts at 11:00 am (Eastern time)
Roger Harold Folts passed away peacefully the morning of Monday, May 18th, 2026, with the love of his family surrounding him. Roger was born in Rochester, NY in 1938 to Harold C. Folts and Mildred E. Scranton/Folts. He had a happy childhood in Irondequoit with his brother Edward F. Folts and sister Marjorie A. Klick/Folts. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, in 1960, from Harvard University on a Navy ROTC Scholarship, and later a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. Roger married his high school sweetheart, and love of his life, Barbara K. Fuess/Folts immediately following graduation from Harvard. They were very happily married for 65 years until her death last year. They were blessed with 2 children, Kathryn Edith Folts/Bertolozzi and Gregory Roger Folts. He was also a grandfather to Rachel Bertolozzi, Nicole Bertolozzi, Tyler Folts, and Cailey-Anne Folts. Roger is survived by both his Children, and his Grandchildren. Roger was a wonderful, loving, quiet, supporting husband and father. He excelled in school and sports throughout his childhood and adult life. In High School, he lettered in Baseball (Captain), Football (Captain), Swimming, and Basketball, and was President of the Student Council. As an adult he added Racquetball to his list of sports and became ranked #1 at the club that he played. With all that success, he was always content at home to be the rock-solid support system for his wife and children. Always ready to help when asked. That leadership style worked well for him in the business world where he held leadership positions in several corporations including Corning and ADP.
A Celebration of Roger’s life will be held on Friday, June 12th, at 11:00 a.m., at the Jupiter First Church, 1475 Indian Creek Pkwy, Jupiter, FL 33458. A reception will follow at the church. Memorial donations may be made to the UNICEF (www.UNICEFUSA.org).
