IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert C.
Odgers
May 16, 1929 – August 18, 2025
Robert C. "Bob" Odgers, of Stuart, Florida, died on August 18, 2025, at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Harper House in Stuart, Florida.
He was born in East Orange, New Jersey, May 16, 1929 and lived many years in Morristown and Brielle, New Jersey, before moving to Palm City, Florida, with his wife in 1992. They lived in the Evergreen Club community until she passed away in 2003. He was an active fisherman and could often be seen offshore on one of his many boats called JOLLY O. He also loved golf and was formerly a member of Spring Brook Country Club in Morristown, NJ, and Evergreen Golf Club in Palm City.
Bob spent 30 years in many official positions within Litton Industries before starting a subsidiary company for Canon, USA. In May 1980 he formed his own company now called Shore Business Solutions in Wall Township, New Jersey. Following Bob's retirement in December, 1991, the company was run and expanded for many years by his son-in-law George Krebs. Since January, 2023, the business has been under the ownership and able guidance of Chris and Danielle Wolowitz.
Bob was very active wherever he lived and he served on the boards at the Evergreen Club, Mariner Cay, Jamestown, and Spring Brook. He was an active volunteer for the Florida Oceanographic Society and could be seen giving the stingray or game fish presentations every Wednesday.
He leaves behind son Robert P. Odgers (Connie) of Stuart, Florida, Sharon L. Krebs (George) of Howell, New Jersey, Sheila L. Morland (Verne) of Kettering, Ohio, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, as well as his loving companion of twenty years Gail McGrath. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Beatrice "Bicky" Odgers.
Bob loved every minute of his life and his upbeat attitude was infectious. He was a loving father and a good friend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Peace Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1628, Port Salerno, FL 34992, or to Harper House, Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
