Robert Timothy Shevlin Jr., born May 4, 1956, in New York, New York, entered into eternal rest on November 13, 2025, in Stuart, Florida.

He will be remembered most for his adventurous spirit, vibrant personality, and for being unapologetically himself.

Rob proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1976 to 1985, followed by serving in the Army Reserves until his deployment in Operation Desert Storm in 1990. He embodied the values of honor, justice, courage, and commitment throughout his years of service.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.

Rob was known for his humor, boldness, and stubborn strength — qualities that made him an unforgettable part of his family. He loved literature, music, travel, baseball, hockey, politics, sharing laughter, and spending time surrounded by the people he loved most.

He will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, siblings, extended family, and friends, all of whom will carry forward the laughter and love he gave so freely.
