SLOTE, ROBERT KILEY. Bob was born July 31, 1927 in Bayside, Queens, New York to Beryl and Edward Slote. He graduated from Bayside High School in 1945 and from the New York State Maritime Academy where he was a proud "Scissorbill" of the Class of 1947. He graduated from Amherst College in 1951 and served as a LTJG in the United States Navy on the USS Telfair during the Korean Conflict. He received an MBA from New York University in 1961. He married and is survived by his wife of 58 years, June Vine, formerly of Brookline, MA. Bob worked as a Stockbroker for nearly 50 years in New York, Stamford, CT and Palm Beach, Florida, and previously lived in the greater New York City area and Norwalk, Connecticut. He succumbed peacefully in his hometown of the last 33 years, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on December 1, 2015. He was predeceased by his brother, Edward B. Slote, M.D. and in addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Karen and Larry, as well as five Grandchildren- Ashley, Alexander, Abigail, Austin and Adam. There will be no services.
